About Us
We can't wait for the day our child joins us in music lessons, beach trips, Disneyland adventures, sports, and playful moments with our dogs. Our home overflows with love, faith, kindness, and joy, and we'll support them in all their dreams. Surrounded by the love of our big extended families, they'll be cherished beyond measure.
We are open to considering an open adoption and believe in the importance of maintaining connections.

Our story began when we met in the year 2014. We were both college students living in Provo, UT at the time and we happened to live in the same apartment complex. We quickly became friends and then started dating. A short time later, we were married in San Diego CA in 2015.
We have built a wonderful life together and we have had many adventures. We have been married for almost 10 years. Both of us work for tech companies in Northern Utah in the Silicon Slopes area. Together we enjoy traveling, going to the beach, Disneyland, strongman heavy weight lifting, white water kayaking, eating great food, spending time with our families, music, as well as many other adventures.
We also love both of our fur babies, Duke and Duchess. If you have every watched the children's TV show, Bluey, you might recognize the dog breed.
We are both practicing christians and have both served religious missions. Everett went to Mexico and McKenzie went to North Carolina. We are very devoted to our faith and will raise our children to gain faith and a testimony for themselves of Jesus Christ.
Since 2017, we have struggled with infertility issues and unfortunately, we have been unable to have any children.
Family is everything to us. We are both the oldest of our siblings and we are also both the oldest grandchildren on each side of our families. Nothing brings us greater joy than spending time with our nephews and niece. We also have many close friends of ours who also have children and we love spending time with them. It has always been a dream of ours to be able to be parents. We believe that love is what builds and makes a family regardless of genetics or history.
About Everett
I grew up from Modesto, CA. I am the oldest of 4 boys and currently work in IT. I graduated from Brigham Young University in 2015 and from Western Governors University in 2019. I am also a native Spanish speaker. I love traveling, lifting, the beach, swimming, cooking, and I also enjoy new adventures. I am also a tech nerd. I built my first computer in 6th grade.
Music has been a part of my life since I was 5 years old and I've studied at the university level while doing my undergrad. In my spare time, I also teach violin lessons and have taught kids a young as 3 years old.
About McKenzie
I am originally from Wildomar, CA. I am the oldest of four children and 23 grandchildren. I come from a loving family who raised me to love and respect those around me. I work for a tech company in Lehi, UT. I graduated from Utah Valley University in 2020. I love to try new things all the time and I love reading fantasy novels. I also love to sing, dance, swim, lift heavy weights, travel, and cook together with my husband. I also love taking our dogs on new adventures. I have always had a sense for adventure. I love getting together with my family to go try something new or to explore new places. In my spare time, I love home projects and with Everett's help we have been able to do a lot of fun stuff. I also love spending time with family and friends. We love hosting dinners, parties, and game nights. I am a down to earth person with a strong sense of loyalty. I work as hard as I play.
About Duke
About Duchess
Duke is a red heeler and he is such a funny boy. His favorite treat is definitely string cheese. He is also very adventurous and one time on a camping trip, he went on his own adventure by himself and came back a few hours. Although we were frantic in the moment, it was a very funny memory. Duke is also a very loving dog.
Duchess is a blue heeler and her favorite treats are definitely rawhide chews. She is obsessed with playing fetch and will chase a tennis ball for hours. Duchess is very gentle with kids and loves to be around them.
